Sneak Peek Day 5 Featuring Caring Critters Stamp Set

Welcome to the 5th day of the 2 Red Bananas March stamp set Sneak Peeks!

Today we are showing off Caring Critters. This set has not only the bird and butterflies I used but also a cute bunny along with several quotes. To participate in this week's BasicGrey Challenge 23, I used the color scheme of pink and green using some BasicGrey papers. For the images and quote I stamped them in VersaMark and heat embossed them in black. The bird on the branch was colored with Prismacolor pencils and mineral spirits and the butterflies have been painted with pink Shimmerz. This set along with all other EIGHT new sets will be available on the 2 Red Bananas site Monday, March 2nd.

Paper(s): Basic Grey Fandango, Patina and Fashionable
Stamp(s): 2 Red Bananas Caring Critters
Ink(s): VersaMark and Black Embossing Powder, Tsukineko Graphite Black
Other: Prima flowers and black brads

If you are participating in the Inspiration Challenge this week or need more details, please visit the 2 Red Bananas blog. You can enter as many project as you want so that increases your chances to win one of the new March release stamp sets!

Thanks for stopping by. The Sneak Peeks will continue through the weekend so keep checking back!

  1. Maraya, this is beautiful! The colors are so clear and clean and fabulous! I love the way you have shaded and highlighted, and the way you cut the focal image out and spot-lighted it on that gorgeous pink...that really makes it pop! Beautiful papers, fun layout, and wonderful card!
